Eduardo was an investment banker with Totta & Açores, Santander, Montepio and Banco Finantia and later the CFO of a TV producer and the owner-manager of the Portuguese franchise of Cañas & Tapas. He joined FundBox in 2018 to head the investor’s relation office, and holds a BSc in Economics from Nova SBE, in Lisbon.
João’s first employer was Big4 audit firm PwC, where he worked as an auditor. He left to join FundBox in 2016 as the Deputy Head of Operations, took the helm of the Operations team in 2018 and became CFO in 2025. He holds a degree in Business from Nova SBE, in Lisbon.
Tânia, a chartered member of the Portuguese Accounting Association, joined FundBox in 2008 after her BSc in Accounting and Finance from the Setúbal Polythecnic, as an operations analyst. She is the head of the shareholding management team since 2025.
Tiago was an entrepreneur in the agricultural and automobile sectors before joining FundBox in 2006 to head real estate asset management. Currently, he serves as the Chief Investment Officer- Real Estate. Tiago studied Management at Universidade Lusófona and at AESE, the Lisbon arm of University of Navarra’s IESE.
Tânia’s first job was in banking with BPI, the Portuguese arm of Catalonia’s Caixa Bank. She joined FundBox’s compliance office in 2013, and became Group Compliance Officer in 2019. She holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University, completed an online course in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School and is a member of the Portuguese Bar.
Ana worked for rent-a-car giants Hertz before joining FundBox in 2008, where she held accounting and asset management roles before becoming the Deputy Head of the Asset Management team. She earned a BSc degree in Finance from ISCAL in Lisbon.
Catarina joined FundBox’s asset management team in 2016 and became Chief Investment Officer – Alternatives in 2025. She holds a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Architecture from Lisbon University, and pursued graduate studies in Art Markets at Lisbon’s New University. She also completed the Art Market Economics course from Christie’s Education, the Future of Real Estate Investment Programme from the University of Oxford/ Said Business School, the International Wine Business Programme from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, and the Alternative Investments course by Harvard Business School Online.
Cármen started her career with Arthur Andersen as an auditor. She left to join fund managers Gestifundo, and later moved to Banco Privado Português as head of operations. She went back to fund management with independent firm Grow, and joined the FundBox in 2012. Cármen holds a BSc degree in Business from the Portuguese Catholic University.
Rita, a Portuguese national, posts a 25+-year career in capital markets and financial management. Her initial position was in equity research in Portuguese investment banking, first (1999) with Millennium BCP and later with Caixa BI (2001) and Banif Investimentos (2007). As usual with seasoned public equity analysts, she moved on to become investor relations officer with Euronext Lisbon-listed construction group Soares da Costa in 2010, and became Soares da Costa SGPS Finance Director in 2015. After a stint with property consultants CBRE from 2016 to 2018, she held Finance Director positions with IT consultants Multivision and workspace designers Fluxograma before joining FundBox as Chief Investment Officer – Private Equity in 2025.
Rita holds a BSc degree in Economics from the Portuguese Catholic University and a Master’s degree in Finance from the Lisbon University Institute.
Susana started her career as a financial analyst with Porto Vivo SRU, the City of Porto Development Company, and moved to Colliers where she worked in consulting. She joined FundBox in 2015. She holds a degree in Management from the Porto University.
Yuliya worked for IT company SamGarde in the UK and for the State-owned bank CGD and Minor Hotels in Portugal before joining FundBox’s investor relations team in 2020, where she handles nomad investors. She holds a BSc degree in International Relations from NOVA and a MScBA from the Lisbon University Institute.
